Change is Coming!

As previously announced, the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina (IGONC) and North Carolina Tire Dealers Association (NCTDA) are merging to form the Automotive Service and Tire Alliance (ASTA). This merger is official as of October 1, 2021.

ASTA will premiere new branding in the near future. ASTA’s first board meeting will be October 21, 2021. Here is a list of current ASTE Board Members:

President – Marc Pons, Chapel Hill Tire

Vice President – Todd Compton, Compton’s Automotive

Immediate Past President – Stan Creech, Creech Import Repair

Treasurer – Bill Jackson, Parrish Tire Co.

Director – Frankie Pugh, Pugh’s Tire & Service Centers

Director – Will Pleasants, American Tire Distributors

Director – Frankie Underwood, Black’s Tire Service

Director – Mbie Dowd, Casey’s Tire Pros & Automotive

Director – Salvatore Rossano, NTW

ASTA staff will consist of those from each original association:

Associate Director – Reece Hester

Marketing and Membership Director – Maddi Hennessey

Bookkeeper – Becky Hester
